Floorcloths have been in American homes since the
Revolutionary War. They were quite fashionable and sought after, mostly made in England from sail cloth and painted in traditional designs.
Today, floorcloths are just as fashionable, and a durable and versitile decoration for your home, contemporary or traditional.
These floorcloths are made from the best double-primed canvas then hand painted. TEN coats of polyurethane are applied, then the cloth is hand waxed for waterproofing and finishing.
A non-skid backing will be applied if desired, or a non-skid pad cut-to-fit can be ordered with your cloth. |
